How I did it: Well, I can't really say that I did this, but I DID move out of my apartment and left those ugly Venetian blinds behind! I still have some in the new house but they're not as annoying and are more unobtrusive. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Met with lots of different agents and none of them really "got" me or how I want to brand my company. Then met with Marc, per a recommendation by R, and we clicked immediately. I like their team, like the company's initiative and especially love Marc's enthusiasm. It's only been one week and we have made so much progress. He's keeping me busy nonstop until I leave, and I feel so great about everything! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I'm marking this as done since I've managed to keep my plant alive, and have even added to the collection. AND I planted a vegetable garden which is thriving! So I feel good. No more dead, dying or brown plants! Read how I did it…

~ So grateful to have family in the city and a place to stay after my sublet ran out. I’ll be able to crash here for the week before South America.
~ So happy that I found an incredible apartment on one of the most beautiful streets in Manhattan AND I’ll be able to move in March 1 after I get back.
~ A window seat for curling up on and reading a book.
~ I am so grateful for my boyfriend and how we interact now. I miss him so much. We can have a Skype call that goes from happy to sad to angry and always back to happy again before we hang up.
~ For my puffy coat on a freezing night. For having a warm bed and a roof when so many don’t.
1. Moved to New York on New Year’s Day and when the sublet turned out to be a nightmare I had enough money to stay in a hotel.
2. Finding an 11th hour sublet in the West Village—it’s perfect!
3. Arriving at my first day of work at the new job to find flowers delivered from my boyfriend!
4. New beginnings and knowing that he is by my side even when he’s far away. I feel so loved, so secure, and so excited to embrace this time. We made the decision together for me to take the temporary assignment, and we will both make the most of it until we can be together in six months.
5. Walking and walking and walking and feeling great. I love New York!
6. Great office with good people and lots of laughter. I think it’s going to be fun.
7. That the apartment owner left all kinds of lovely products!
