I had assumed, or at least hoped that my years of experience as a gymnast would assist me in keeping balance and sustained muscle contraction. boy was I wrong. I must have fallen down at high speeds at least seven times on the very last slope. it was great fun, much different than skiing, which I also love. I had also expected that the two would have more in common, but as it turns out I’m better at skiing. tip: when you fall, fall flat, don’t catch yourself with your hands or arms. after a while they’ll crack off. oh, and buy a helmet, big boy.
procrastination is a nasty little bugger. especially for people like me. I have many interests, which, when one should really be weighing more heavily than another, tend to lend themselves to completely enjoyable and productive distractions. now for step two: getting over it. I got a nifty book, but the authour really should have figured out that a person who buys a book on procrastination needs less explaination and more immediate tips…I must wait until chapter seven…maybe it’s a joke, like: well, you made it this far, at least we know it’s not add, it is definitely a procrastination ordeal we are dealing with if it took you more than seven weeks to get this far!
