I already have a Bachelor’s Degree and then some but it seems that there are so many people out there earing so much more money than me. I don’t understand how they do it. I guess it’s not really a matter of how much education you have but rather how you market yourself, your line of work, years of experience, connections, etc. I’m always curious how other people got started doing what they’re doing. “How did you come to build houses for a living?” “Why did you choose real estate as a profession?” Of course there are always trade offs in our chosen professions for instance, some lines of work require nights and weekends. My current position offers me the luxury of Mon-Fri 8 to 5 hours which is beneficial for my work life balance.

The oil in my car desparately needs to be changed. I find it inconvenient to wait around for Jiffy Lube to do it and equally inconvenient to drop my car off at the shop to have my mechanic do it. So, I want to learn to do it myself. I’m a do it yourself kinda girl.
After reading what another member had to say (very explicit instructions) I feel that I can successfully obtain this goal. The thing that worries me most about changing the oil in my car is, do I have to put the car up on ramps to do it? My car is a pretty low rider and I’m sure I can’t crawl under it besides which if I did, it would be terribly closterphobic. Maybe a friend of mine has some ramps (what are those things called?) that I can borrow and maybe he’ll show me how to use them? I’m sure I can do the rest if I can get over this hurdle :)
