I don’t really care for the inktense pencils: colors don’t blend well. They’re mostly useful for graphics with solid blocks of intense colors—like logos, icons, and symbols. I still haven’t decided on whether I like watercolor pencils or not. They are definitely convenient, in conjunction with a water brush: handy if you’re on a plane or train and want to paint.

Now I have to decide on what new herbs to put into it. So far there is lemon balm, mint, chives, thyme, feverfew, and no doubt runners of marjoram (which I’ve been trying to get rid of), oh and catnip. I pulled out the sage, as it was pretty straggly. I definitely want parsley, chamomile, and basil, fennel and St. John’s Wort. I keep the lavender in the front which has better sun.
