The job i want vs the job i have 3 years ago

I have found the THE JOB that i want to do most… but i can’t get it.. not just yet. Let’s just say there’s a lot of prepping that i have to do, and i have to do it fast…

My present work totally gets in the the way of what i have to do to get THE JOB. So I’m at a dilemna… do i quit my present work and prep for someting i may or may not get? Or do i stay with what i’m doing, which consumes me so much that i have little room for anything else but…

Actually, there’s seems to be no question about what i should do… but it is riskier… to give up something concrete for something that’s just possible… and when it comes to job security, i have always been risk averse…

We’ll see what will happen soon…
