We celebrated our ninth anniversary in January - and yeah, I know it’s March now, thanks - without much fanfare, but that’s all right. Cos I know that I’m surprised, pleasantly so, that we’ve made it this far.
I mean, I remember that when he first announced our engagement - Come on, I was in Nebraska, people, who was I going to tell? - they thought he was nuts. Marry me? The uber bitch? The crazy slut? Yeah, fun, right?
But he stuck it out (and stuck it in at least twice ;-)) and though we’ve had some serious rough patches, we’ve made it.
Thank the gods!
I give up! There’s no way I have the time, energy or inclination to document my ever-changing collection of books!
Besides, right now I’m way too busy reading Laurell K. Hamilton’s Stroke of Midnight! Go, Merry, Go!!
