I had it in my head that I could do it the whole time, so when it came down to catching up on 5,000 words in one day, I knew it was crunch time. Plus, I told everyone I knew that I was doing it, so there was pride on the line. Now I have bragging rights! I was so proud when I took my disk to Kinkos and had it printed there!! (I had to ink or paper in my printer!)

At first I was defensive about people reading it. But now I don’t care, because they are reading something I wrote and all that matters is that they know the author personally!
