I suggest anyone who’s interested in this (I realize it sounds cryptic without it’s context), read the Ishmael trilogy or Beyond Civilization, both by Daniel Quinn.
Leaving the prison means giving up control of your supposed “destiny,” living in greater harmony with Earth, accepting that you are not superior because you are human, and much more than that. It’s true freedom.
