How I did it: I just kept on applying, and to be honest enrolled in even further education -but I still got a part-time job and even that was hard earned! A lot of people told me to lie about having a degree whilst looking for retail work but I don't see why I should lie about achieving something which nearly killed me (!) and eventually someone noticed my experience and hired me! How I did it: I actually cut it myself with a pair of kitchen scissors from a semi-grown-out pixie cut, and although you may well imagine the devestation that could have been wreaked, it actually looks great! read a classic book, or go rent an amazing film. make like the japanese and turn making tea into an act of beauty. appreciate. live with all your senses. remember quotes which mean something to you, write them down. buy a print of a picture which makes you happy and hang it on your wall.

apparently i should be spending 5-6 hours a day for 5/6 days a week at least. I think getting up earlier would help and then splitting the day into three chunks, spending two of them working. At least once its done there’s the summer to look forwards to!
