I’ve been proud to be an athiest in the past, but now it’s just part of who I am. No big whoop. I was raised an athiest though, so I think I have less to be proud of than someone who found it on their own. I’m really conflicted as to whether to put “worth doing” or “not worth it” on this one, so please take whichever I go with with a grain of salt. :)
The most important tool in learing HTML is the View Source function of your web browser. Find websites that you like and look at how they do it. Beyond that, there are lots of websites on it. Google is definately your friend. I can do HTML and am tackling CSS, and I’ve never had need of books for it. Which isn’t to say you should avoid books or anything. Just get what you can off the web before you spend the money.
