Now, I just sit back and wait for the decision of the Court of Appeals.
I have done everything that I could do. Now, wait and see.
I am the appellant in this situation and brought this appeals on myself. I am representing myself pro se in this matter, no money for an attorney. I have researched the laws of my state regarding this issue of mine.
I wrote my first brief (Appellate Brief) back in November. I just received the Respondent’s brief and now had 15 days to file an Appellant Reply Brief. This is now done. Being sent to Court of Appeals tomorrow.
Now, it will be decision time. I don’t expect the decision to come until about 2 months from now. The Court of Appeals is backed up pretty bad with so many cases.
Hurry up and wait.

I’ve always wanted to learn another language. In Wisconsin, there are a ton of spanish speaking people and I think it will really help on the job front. Looks great on a resume and there are always job postings (in healthcare, which I plan to get back into) that ask for bilingual skills and are willing to pay a bit more for it.
Been to Mexico several times. Love it!!! My brother is married to a woman who is from Mexico, her family is still all there, she speaks no English (thankfully, my brother is fluent in Spanish as that is all that is spoken in their home). Not too welcoming for guests, such as me, that don’t speak a lick of any other language. Yes, I must learn this.

Yeah! I got a second, but really it will be my third interview tomorrow a.m.
This position is for an Ophthalmology Assistant which I would love to do. I need to get back into the medical field as I feel that is where I am the most interested and the most strong.
I have already had the first interview. Got called back for a 2nd interview with the Doctor. Wasn’t selected that go around, but got a call for another interview. This time the interview will be with 2 doctors. One of the docs is the same one as before plus an additional doctor. They are doing some “restructuring” of the department and not sure where this new assistant will end up or which doctor this new assistant will end up with.
I’m confident I can excel at this job and I hope that shows in my interview tomorrow.
