I’m doing pretty well at this because I’ve started eating lean cuisines and healthy choice frozen meals for lunch. The healthy choice ones are particlarly good because they have less sodium and more vegetables. When I bring a sandwitch for lunch I’ve been cutting carrot sticks to go with it. One thing I want to start doing is having fruit and veggies for snacks instead of things like chips.

How I did it: The three months does not include the time it took to save the money for the down payment. I contributed a small fraction of that. My husband saved for about 5 years for that chunk of money. But once we decided we were ready we called on a couple houses posted on online realestate sites. Through sheer luck we got hooked up with a GREAT realtor. We told her exactly what we were looking for and she helped us find it. It really was as … Read how I did it…
How I did it: Simple matter of filling out paper work and handing over cash. The hardest part was actually doing it one day. If you don't have a copy of your birth certificate, you'll have to get that first. Luckily, I had it on hand because I got married recently. I applied at my local post office and got my picture taken at Walgreen's. It was quick and easy, though a bit expensive. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I just refrained. Once or twice it wasn't easy. -Like when I wanted to have wine with dinner. But really I don't drink that much anyway, so I think I might have been focusing my energy on the wrong thing. Read how I did it…

I did not anticipate how intense this project was going to be! First we had to take the wallpaper down, then the adhesive, then sand the walls, then wash the walls, and finally prime and paint. Yikes. I just finished washing the walls. I THINK we’re going to prime tomorrow. We’ll definitely have it finished by the end of the weekend and I’m so excited it’s almost done.
This summer was out-of-control busy for me. I’m very happy that’s over. I don’t have a lot more free time now, but if I’m honest with myself there IS time in the week for me to accomplish three workouts. I am really going to put serious effort into refocusing my energy into a few wellness oriented goals.
