Travel is cool, but I’ve never really felt like I was on a journey – maybe the itinerary separates a long trip from a journey. The dictionary says a journey is either the “distance of a trip” (e.g. the journey took 1,000 miles…) or “a trip from place to place”. Yet, I’ve been on long trips, and still have not been on that journey. Maybe it’s not the physical distance but what it takes to get there, obsticles, adventures, and how you change that creates a true journey.
I’d love to travel as much as I can. Actual travel provides wisdom that travel shows just can’t quite replicate.
