I think this is a great idea! I will start today! Today July 14th 2009, something that made me happy was learning that I can get over a guy and still be his friend! I will keep a journal I think, thanks for the great idea! :)

How I did it: I asked my mum's friend who teaches singing to give me an introductory lesson. I felt the lesson gave me many things to work on so I can continue to train my voice with the proper technique required for singing. Although one lesson is not nearly enough to be considered a trained singer, I now have a better idea of what to work on. I am going to start taking weekly lessons this year, and I'm extremely excited. With… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had to stop myself everytime I went for my fingers. I also encouraged my wonderful friends to help me too! I used all the products, even though I continually bit through the polish that makes your nails taste bad, it helped as a reminder to not bite. I used a product that helped my nails grow faster so they looked good and I wouldn't want to ruin such a perfect thing! :) I kept myself busy and worried less. Read how I did it…

I go crazy. Literally. I get very obsessive, whether it be talking about him nonstop, checking his facebook 20 times a day, or remembering every word he said to me, I go crazy. I can feel myself boring my friends because I talk about him way to much but I can’t stop. I realize it takes away from my life- I can’t enjoy anything unless it’s related to him, I don’t hang out with my friends as much and I hurt myself. But now it’s time to change, I know I will feel so much better this way.
It seems like it’s a choice but I know it will take more than me telling myself to stop liking him. He is so nice and sweet it’s hard to find his flaws but I know that even though we will never be, there will be someone who will truly want me more than he ever did and will give me so much more than he ever did. For now I’m just erasing him from my head. We are friends- which is great, but I just need to be without him for awhile. I know I can do this, as hard as it will be!
