I found a pretty good piercer yesterday and I think I’m going to go next week to get it done. I know my parents will probably get so mad, but I’ve told them, starting when I was 13, what piercings/tattoos I wanted, and it’s hardly changed. At least I waited till I was old enough, right? Either way, I want to get it pierced now so it will heal in time for summer.

How I did it: I just went to the movie theater, paid for my ticket, and watched the movie. There really isn't much to this because when you go to the movies you don't really socialize with the people you're there with during the movie. It's just a scary thing for me to do because I don't like doing anything alone. But this is probably one of the easiest things to do alone. It's easy to find a seat too.The downside is that I like seeing movies with peop… Read how I did it…
How I did it: My school was having a blood drive all this week, so I took an iron pill this morning to ensure my hemoglobin level would be normal, went to class, came back home to have some lunch (I REALLY didn't want to donate on an empty stomach), double checked the eligibility requirements for donation, and then just went. I spent about 2 hours there total, but there were a lot of people donating. My hemoglobin level was normal, which was really the… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was raised in a very Catholic family and went to Catholic school. My great aunt was a nun and my dad's cousin was a priest, and every other relative of mine was a devout catholic. So, of course, I went to church every sunday and received all the sacraments up to confirmation. I understood all the teachings of the catholic faith and read the bible and said prayers, but I could never find any meaning in the religion. When I was 14, a frien… Read how I did it…

I scratched the idea of a text tattoo because the phrase I wanted was too long. I scratched the idea of the djed because I don’t know enough about it and I can’t find many pictures of it and the ones I can find don’t really show what I want.
I’m thinking maybe I’ll just go with a flash tattoo. I absolutely love flower tattoos, so I’m thinking about getting a pink rose on the back of my hip. I originally didn’t want to go for something so common, but I think it’s pretty and it would be a good starter tattoo. I’ve been too focused on coming up with something original and significant, but I think I’m more of a rose person anyway. So I think that may make a good first tattoo. I still have lots of ideas for other tattoos that I want, but I think the rose might be good for now.
I’ve been trying to write a song for the past week but I can’t find a subject. A few ideas have popped into my head (mostly immediately before going to sleep, when I get the best ideas) but they never turn out right. I want to write about something unique, not “I love you”, “I miss you”, or something like that that’s been done 20 million times. I mean, I could but I’d want the lyrics to be unique still. Ironically, I have absolutely no problem coming up with a tune. I thought the music would be the hard part and the lyrics would just come. First time I’m getting writers block in a long time. But I’d really like to just get that first song out of the way so I can write more, you know?
