become a singer

i want to become a singer without any of that agent-stage kid stuff. so far, the only way this is possible is by being on american idol- but wouldn’t it be great if this could change? that anyone with talent could just walk into an office, prove they’re amazing, and get signed? wouldn’t the world be a better place if you didn’t have to be an agressive ass to become famous? i want to make it happen.
