things moved surprisingly fast once i signed up for it. did it over a week with a PADI operator – 2 days of theory, 2 pool sessions, and 2 days of open water (of 5 dives in pulau dayang).
didn’t think too much of it when i signed up. but was a bit scared after the pool sessions – so many things can go wrong!
but now, i wish the open water cud’ve been longer tho’! dayang is certainly beautiful… i can’t wait for the next dive alrd. prob bali =)

i realised that the people ar’d me are mostly late too. ever since the rise of a nifty li’l device otherwise known as The Handphone. it’s so easy to just sms/ call “hey i’ll be 15/30mins late”. it may seem good, but really only encourages us not be be efficient on whatever we’re doing. (e.g. end the previous activity when it should have. or stop doing that ONE MORE THING). and thus waste each other’s time instead. and now it spills over to being late for lessons, work, scheduled movies, plays etc.
so i’m gonna try, one day at a time. and as difficult as it may sound, i wanna reverse this and hopefully, get my frens to be on time as well =)

i live in singapore, where it’s either too sunny or rainy, so i use the underground links and shopping malls a lot. and only cared about the things i need. so it was mighty embarrassing when i brought a foreign friend ar’d town recently, but didn’t know how to navigate the streets, especially the back lanes. or have only a vague idea of where one can get a certain thing from. he brought me around instead.
so yes i’m def. gonna get out and explore my own city!
