I did this many times… It’s the only option when camping on the mounain (and sometimes this option is missing too). Can’t say that I find anything special about it (exept the freezing water might make you feel like your head will explode), but it’s an interesting experience the first few times you do it.
One time I held a contest with a friend: which one of us can keep a foot in the stream for the most time. That was an awful experience! I felt like my bones were going to crack at any moment. I won’t be doing that again…
