I haven’t been running much since my previous physical test, so I finally started training a few weeks ago. I’m currently only running two miles, but I intend to tackle a longer natural course soon. Surprisingly, I enjoy running and PE lessons now, and I can only hope it remains like this forever.
I’ve been also thinking of learning Krav Maga, but hell, my schedule’s pretty packed. Shall see how it goes.

I learnt of this book while slacking on Ask Metafilter, and finally seized the chance to borrow it from the school library.
The book is wonderful, and it mentions the one lesson that I’m not likely to forget anytime soon: “The art of economics consists in looking not merely at the immediate but at the longer effects of any act or policy; it consists in tracing the consequences of that policy not merely for one group but for all groups.”
It couples well with my current study of macroeconomics, but it doesn’t really go in depth into details. Instead, it applies “the lesson” to many cases in the real world, and it’s certainly enriching.
Even if you’re not studying economics, this book is still a good read. It only requires a little understanding of simple concepts like demand and supply, taxes, inflation, etc. No graphs anywhere in the book.

I’ve completed an online Dvorak typing tutorial a few days ago, and I’m happy to say that I can type Dvorak at a reasonably alright speed now.
It actually feels more comfortable than QWERTY, but I’m guilty of not using it too often haha.
So I’m determined to use Dvorak more often!
