I weighed myself today and the scale said that I weigh 114.5 which is nice because when I started about a week ago, I weighed 116. So, I’m getting there. And even if the scale lied to me or if it’s just a difference water weight and all that, it’s still nice to see the scale say less than a week ago.

How I did it: My family uses a charity organization every couple of years when we go through a cleaning stage. I had already packed up a bunch of stuff that I didn't want and wasn't using. How I did it: I bought a book about how to knit socks (I Can't Believe I'm Knitting Socks (Leisure Arts #4083) by Cindy Guggemos), needles (US size 5 DPNs), and yarn (Lion Brand Grey Wool-Ease). I followed the directions (mostly) and made my first pair of socks. Read how I did it…
Since about Saturday I’ve started a running/toning schedule. Let’s see how long I can keep it up this time…
I called a charity today and I’ve scheduled a pick-up for next week. Now I just need to finish sorting things out. Or just get rid of what I have now and make a second donation later…
