I’ve done this several times, usually because someone was moving, or someone wanted help with the trip. It was a lot of fun and totally worth it. I’d jump at the chance to do it again.

How I did it: This has made me feel productive, though not by the standards of my mom's side of the family. I've been reading up on how to take better photos, and practicing at home and out at the ocean. I think I'm better at it than I used to be. Read how I did it…
How I did it: We had a big argument, and then everything was better afterward. It's also stopped since I moved away, as there's not much I can do for him when I'm on the other side of the country. Being nice to him has helped a lot. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went back to Indiana (where I used to live. I now live in california) for a friend's wedding, and took the train home. I bought the tickets online and all. It was MUCH different from flying. I got quite bored and sleeping was difficult. They also lost my suitcase at one point, but I got it back later. It was worth it, though, because going through the mountains on the train was great. Read how I did it…

This was really a lot of fun, and I love actually making something. It took me several months, though.
This was pretty easy. I was driving across the country when I moved to california, and this town was only maybe five minutes off the freeway. It was pretty creepy, with lots of junk and old cars around. I think there are a few hermits who actually do live here. Also, my mom actually got pretty creeped out, so we only stayed long enough to take a few pictures. I’d love to go back.
