Last week my husband worked late, so we stayed in reading a book that I got. It’s called, 1001 Ways to Be Romantic. There are some really great ideas we’re excited to use!
Tonight is Date Night again! My husband is almost home from work, and we plan on going out to eat, renting a movie, and maybe something else…? We are trying to be creative and thrify, but sometimes it’s hard when you have a lot of other things on your mind too. But, this is why we read that book last week. No excuses!
I am going to do some research now. He just called, and he’s getting overtime tonight. It’s time to get creative and think of something awesome for him!

It doesn’t matter how small, I love the satisfication of getting a project finished . Whether it be the empty laundry bins, a new shade hung, or loading the frigde full of food after grocery shopping, I feel great to have gotten it done and seeing the results! Funny thing is, I procrastinate getting the project done every time, and when it’s finally done I always ask “why did I put this off?!”… but it never fails, I procrastinate the next project as much as I did the first. lol. Maybe that is what keeps the great feeling alive!
I haven’t got a chance to be on 43things lately because things have been a little hectic around here… but I am so glad to report that we have still have stayed strong to our weekly date night! :) Last Tuesday my husband let me choose what to do so we went to Pottery Hollow- one of my favorite places. Pottery Hollow is an art store in which you pick out a ceramic piece you love, and paint it in any style you choose with all the paint, stamps, and toold available! When finished, it’s put into a kiln and ready to be picked up about a week later!
This week, on Wednesday, I let Walter choose (kind of). He had been talking for weeks about the Wolverine movie, so I cooked dinner and ordered it on our DirecTV and got plenty of pillows and blankets and such to snuggle with. :)
Date Night will be coming again Wednesday the 28th, and hopefully it will something Halloween-related!
