OK its been 5 weeks 15 months ago

And for 3 of them I did very well and only missed 2 days. But, then I went on vacation and when I got back I had a cold, so now I am refocusing on this task.



drink more green tea
I have started drinking Iced Green Tea 16 months ago

I brew up 8 bags of Celestial Seasonings Honey Lemon Ginseng green tea in a pot. Then poar it over ice with 1/2 cup of splenda in a gallon picher.

It has replaced my morning coffee its so friggen good.



Fix the leak in my basement (read all 2 entries…)
Starting the project I had no idea what to do, but 16 months ago

after 4 trips to the hardware store I finally did it. It was a lot easier than I made it out to be.



clean out my basement and garage
The basement and garage 16 months ago

most people use these to store their cars during the night and store their Christmas decorations and stuff like that. Well ours is out of control. We have so much crap in both that we can hardly walk to the washing machine in the basement and we have a 2 car garage that currently is storing CRAP! In order for us to do this we need to bag up the things we can give to the salvation army and drop them off then, rent an industrial dumpster and just throw the rest of the crap away.

No doubt about it, 16 months ago

Im fixing it tonight. I have been living with this leak for about 2 months and it didnt start that bad and I kept putting it off. Well now it has to be done tonight. Its sad I have to post something online to motivate me to do it, but damn it whatever works.

That would be 10,000 sit ups just in time for Thanksgiving!

I think I need to try to read an old fasioned book and give my eyes a break.



eat oatmeal every day

I add water, splenda, cinnamon, and rasins. Its good! Makes it easy to eat for breakfast everyday. Plus eating breakfast is good for your metabolism, and the fiber is good for your heart.

I have recently gotten in the habit of keeping a pill case with every day of the week on it by my door. So in the morning on my way to work I wont forget.



To live instead of exist
You know your living if 16 months ago

You feel free to do anything you want. You spend a whole day not worrying about money, or work or anything. When you live, you know time is precious, but you understand people more and let them go first because your in no hurry. Thats living and anything else is existing in my book. Thats the type of person I want to be like.



exercise more
This should be easy for me, 16 months ago

I dont have to go to a gym, I can finally dust off that coat rack that we call a treadmill and just use it. When I do (rarely) get on it, Im always glad I took the 20 mins to do it. Plus it gives me a chance to clear stress and listein to my iPod and really just “escape” for a little while.



give up fast food
I always say i want to do this, but 16 months ago

then I just get back into the old habit of having fast food at least 3 times a week (counting pizza). I have broken the awful habit of eating fast food for lunch by eating a can of low sodium soap everday. Its alot healthier for you and it only cost about $2.



Drink less beer. Drink no pop. Drink more water.
I never drink soda, but 16 months ago

I should drink less beer for sure and a lot more water. I normally drink beer 6 nights a week and no water. Now I have gone 10 out of the last 11 nights only drinking water. I wake up for work in a better mood these days.



lose weight
Goal number one. 16 months ago

Im 5’6” and i push the scales to 200lbs. I think a good goal for me is to loose 30lbs and get back to my wedding day weight. I plan to reach this goal in 9 months (3.34lbs a month). Starting now.
