I’ve reworked my blog at davehoran.com with a new template and fresh content. I have a new strategy in place for content, and have some guest posters lined up. I’ll always be tweaking it, so it will never be “perfect” but will be “good enough” to get any message across I want to ebooks sold I produce.

I used to be much more of a morning person, but have slipped into later and later nights now that I have kids. In order to focus on the personal read, writing, and other projects requiring some dedicated, regular quite time I’m going to attempt to get up early in the morning to do this. This will also be a time for exercise (yes, yes, I know). Again, this is something I did pre-kids. I’ll probably reframe the goal title at some point, but wanted to get something out there.
I finished the 3-day riding course (Fri nite, Sat, Sun). I aced the written exam and passed (barely) the road test. This gave me a card while exempted me from taking the full road test thru the NY Dept of Motor Vehicles (DMV). So, I walked into the DMV, showed them my car drivers license and the card…and $12 later I have my new temp license that covers my car AND motocycle license!
