Ever since I was a youngster, I’ve been facinated with skinny dipping. It’s the feeling of the water on your skin without the clingy wet peice of clothing. I remember my first time going to a nude beach in California. The surf washing over me was just incredible. When I walked back to my blanket, the warm sun and cool ocean breeze on my skin rejuvinated me. I was in and out of the water many times that day, and when it came time to leave, and I put that suite back on, argh! Horrible. I was hooked.
In the many years since then, I have gone skinny dipping a lot. I’ve been to secluded rivers and lakes, established nude beaches and resorts and even my own back yard.
If skinny dipping is on your list of things to do, stop wasting time. It’s so natural, and so easy to do: just take off your clothes and dive in!

I love beer, I really do. But, I have a problem – once I start, I don’t stop until it’s all gone. Now, this is fine, if all I have are 2 or 3 cans in the house. But, I buy a case on Friday, and by Sunday, it’s gone, or I need more. My drinking has gotten me into trouble with my family. My wife hates it, and the kids are tired of seeing me drunk all the time. So, for the 2nd year now, I have given it up for Lent. I’ve done pretty good so far, but I have had a couple of beers during this time.
I have high blood pressure too which I take medication for, and I know I should not drink, but I just enjoy it too much. I need to quit, period. I gave up smoking 20 years ago, but I’m just not ready to give up a good beer now and then. I think if I can stick to the moderation thing, I’ll be OK.
Just wanted to say that y’all aint alone in this, and maybe we can help each other out with encouraging emails and comments.
Good luck to all of us.
