Hope it doesn’t get kicked back!
No that I have lowered my daytime pulse to 60, I need to lower my BP down to 120/80. 140/90 is too high. I will up the exercise, lower salt, increase raw food, take B5 and hawthorne berries – and get right back to you.

Here’s a helpful chart I found: http://resources.alibaba.com/topic/39249/Human_Blood_Pressure_Range_Diagram.htm
After I blew it on my last try, I am amazed that I have made it to day 32. It has gotten easier since I have been so busy at work!
The iPhone has helped tremendously. I am going to add a scanner to control the paper overflow, plus a backup hard drive. And probably a portable printer since I have a great need to be able to print but I am between many offices and locations. I also am planning on a smartpen to record conversations and meeting notes.
I wonder if it will ever stay low when I am not fasting. Maybe if I keep my weight down and keep exercising at Crossfit it will stay there. We’ll see.
Doing really well. I only had to eat one social meal I could not avoid. Down 3-4 notches on my belt. Good energy. Clothes fit better. Surprised to be successful at it but only 15 days to go.
Okay, I did it… did the public concerts at paid performances… lots of clapping but no roses or long term contracts offered… great fun though!
Hot chocolate, coffee, vitamin c drink… nothing else… the most exciting flavor of the day is when I brush my teeth… yum yum…
Since I have been threatening to write a book and a dissertation for so long, why not do both at the same time? Two goals in one but I realize that it is really the same goal…
Not really giving up but realizing that my first book and my dissertation are the same thing… Ah, the clarity that comes from writing goals down…
Well I have been waiting a long time but the director asked me to solo on a verse for our upcoming concert. Of course I said yes! Way cool! The funny thing is that we have to have an extra practice which is on Thursday – Valentine’s Day, or Friday – Shabbat! What a choice – make the wife mad or the rabbi upset…. sheesh…
seems like a digital voice recorder would really be helpful. For a hundred bucks you can’t go wrong, eh?
Seems like a logical thing to do… and it will take care of one of my goals! I have been waiting a long time to write this book… I just never knew enough to write it… But I will write the book this year!
I think that body fat percentage is really what I am after so I am going to continue my weight loss tracking under the goal of “reach 10% bodyfat”. I will be a lot healthier, will most likely be able to see my abs, and won’t need to obsess about the number of pounds.
Well today I had a real headache – fasting related I think. Or I might be getting my wife’s cold. I decided that I would have a soup made with half water, half homemade spaghetti sauce (with lentils, no meat). I had a couple bowls today. It seemed to help. At midnight I did have a small serving of ice cream with chocolate sauce – I figured it would have been a milkshake in 30 minutes anyway. My wife, the temptress, tried to get me to each a very nice spicy curry chicken and spinach in coconut milk. I tasted a spoonful of broth—most excellent!
I learned a long time ago not to steal the joy of others with the selfishness of a long term fast. So I had a square of lasagna and a small brownie, small scoop of ice cream and chocolate sauce to celebrate my son’s birthday. But I was “good” the rest of the day. What’s funny is that often on a long fast I will cook for others. I made spaghetti, twice-baked stuffed potatoes, and spicy peanut noodles. I didn’t get any… but it sure made everyone else happy!
I think this will be an accomplished goal as soon as we have teachers and students… at least we have a legal structure!
Did I mention that I tan really fast? So I have a tan in just 2 weeks but I will keep going for another 4 to get even darker… I love the bright light…
