After all the hype I’d like to know what its like
Over the years, I’ve picked up a lot of tech stuff. Most of it just sits ignored on a table waiting for me to put it up on Craigslist. I need to take an inventory of what I really need in life and get rid of all the unnecessary junk.
When I was a kid, I had a BB gun, but I’ve never actually fired a real gun. I don’t really like violence (unless of course it’s just television), but I do think it would be exciting to fire some shots at the firing range.
Owning your own business carries a lot of risks, but there can also be some pretty big rewards. Whether it’s the advantages of setting your own schedule or having the opportunity to build equity and one day sell it, there are plenty of reasons for why this goal is high on my list. Since my Dad was an entrepreneur, this is something that has been instilled in me from very young. At some point I hope to leave the rat race in order to create something independently.
I’ve always enjoyed a good adrenaline rush and I can’t think of anything more exciting. If I ever do go sky diving though, I want it to be the real thing with a freefall instead of being strapped into someone. This may mean that I have to practice more, but it would be worth it to be able to fly even for a moment.
