I just decided to jump right in. My husband and I just dug up a chunk of our yard, roto-tilled it as much as we could, and have been pulling out rocks for 2 weeks. We need to put some better soil in – we’ve got sand & clay… But maybe we can plant in the fall to have a garden in teh spring!

I’ve got three bags and I keep them in the front seat of my car. Whenever I remember to use them, nearly all of my groceries fit in there (I’m shopping for a family of four). I’m not sure what to do about the produce bags… But we end up using them for dog poop bags, so I suppose we’re re-using them… Is there a more environmentally sound way to handle the poop bag?

Only I can’t take any credit. Shortly after her 4th birthday – and after preschool had ended for the summer – B decided she had had enough of diaps and did it herself. No nagging from us, no accidents for her. Day and night. She’s been dry for 2 months. Yeah, B!
