lose weight
Finally hit my goal weight! 23 months ago

It’s been a long slow journey, but I finally hit my goal weight about 6 weeks ago. And I’ve been maintaining the weight, so I can start to believe it’s permanent.

This next week I have another “weight and measures” meeting my trainer. The last one, though I was close to my goal weight, I was still an unsafe body comp., with almost 34% body fat. Hopefully things have improved since then. If not, we’ll be talking more tweaking of the diet. sigh.

Weight nor clothes size is the best measure of a healthy body.



develop & conduct workshops on creativity
Developing some skills 2 years ago

I’m developing some the skills (and vocabulary) needed to do this right now. Reading the books as I find them in the library, checking the blogs and websites.

I have an online group right now that I’m working with on energy drains. And I’ll invite two other groups to participate in the same exercise this winter. With that part behind me, I’ll develop another part of the workshop. By the end of next year, I hope to be able to ask people if they’d like to participate for cash, with positive feedback to encourage them.

Haven't gone in about 20 years. 2 years ago

I’ve done the Cheat, the New, the Upper Gauley and the Yough in the past. Will talk to an outfitter about doing a California river this spring.

This always was the very best adrenaline rush I could imagine.
