I can now replace, tape and mud drywall. The new tape is self adhesive and easy to apply. The mud comes premixed and is available in different size containers. The drywall is easy to cut. Mark the line on the drywall, score with a box blade, snap the drywall at the score line and then use the knife to cut through the paper. Place the patch up on the wall, screw it in place.I used liquid nail for the small pieces. Next apply the mud in thin coats and smooth out the edges with a putty knife. Any rough patches can be sanded off as soon as the mud dries. Easier than it sounds.
