How to keep my room tidy

How I did it: I just decided that I was going to tidy it. It was very hot, it was a spur of the moment thing, and I probably should have done it later on in the evening when the sun was setting. Oh well.It's tidy (in my eyes), and this will probably be as clean as it will ever get. I realise now that while I'm crazy about everything else in the house being tidy, my room is my creative zone; my place for me to crazy. So what if it's a little messy?Anywa… Read how I did it…

How to stop being scared to talk to strangers

How I did it: Unfortunately, the person that I chose to speak to was a nasty old lady, but I didn't care. I also ordered all my own food, smiled at people, and had a conversation with a few people while waiting in line for McDonalds.I didn't realise till afterwards that I was actually speaking to someone I didn't know. It was a wonderful feeling to realise that over the years, building up to this point, I had slowly been learning to communicate with strangers. Read how I did it…

  • Suddenly remembered this goal, and smiled when I realised how many things I had to write about
  • Watched Wedding Crashers with my stepmum and laughed and laughed till our sides hurt
  • Ate a ridiculous amount of pizza
  • Had my little sister try to give me her favourite hat
  • My brother got his learner’s license
  • Slept in
  • Found the most amazing cover version of one of my favourite songs
  • Danced around to CocoRosie

  • Listened to FBI on the radio and found an awesome number of new musicians to be obsessed with
  • My best friend came over and we gossiped and laughed till our throats were sore
  • Watched a strange Korean thriller/comedy, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Korean movies are fantastic.
