I participated in my first 5K over the weekend. I didn’t run, just alternating jogging and walking, and there were others that did the same. It was around 48 degrees and so cold! It took me 45 minutes to get to that finish line, but I still proud of myself that I did it. My legs were very sore the next day! I am going to try another one in two weeks and see what I can do.

How I did it: I originally saw Two Towers before ever seeing Fellowship of the Ring, so I was looking forward to seeing the whole trilogy in the right order. My boyfriend has the extended versions on DVD. We actually started the first movie really late at night, so watched disc one and then went to bed. The next day we started at 10:30am with disc two, watching the rest of Fellowship of the Ring, and then continued on with Two Towers … Read how I did it…
I went to Disney World a couple of weeks ago, and while some the roller coasters there aren’t the super thrill seeking kind, they had some pretty good ones! Mt. Everest Expedition was great (I wouldn’t recommend going on it twice in a row, that made me a bit woozy!), and the Rock N Roll roller coaster went upside down with most of that ride in the dark.
NaNoWriMo didn’t happen for me this year; I just didn’t have time. Maybe next year.
