I was having rather a bad day, and I started slow. But by the time I got halfway down the list, I couldn’t help but smile. This is a simple exercise that lets you remind yourself of all the things that make your life better, and that you should be thankful for them. I’m so glad I made myself do it!

I took years of lessons as a kid. I didn’t appreciate it as much then, but it opened up the world of music for me. I wrote some songs, taught myself to play other instruments, and it helped me to become a very fast typist, if nothing else! I’d like to start playing more again…

It has a completely different feel to it.. much nicer than an indoor theater, especially when you can sit outside on a blanket or on the hood of your car to watch it on one of those big old screens. Don’t forget the snacks.
