Well, I’m a quarter of the way there. I’m getting ready to get underway (I’m a US Navy Submariner) for the first time, hopefully we stop in an awesome foreign ports and I can eat some of these ridiculously hot and exotic peppers. I’ve not yet melted my taste buds, but I’m working on it. : )

How I did it: I am in the US Navy, stationed on a submarine in San Diego, CA. I rode a submarine to the North Pole, in winter. Overall, a fairly difficult, but wholly interesting adventure. I would suggest that anyone who wants to do this should find ANY OTHER WAY to go there. Read how I did it…
I once weighed 330 pounds. It was the heaviest and most depressed time of my life. So, I changed my life. Dramatically. I ended up at 184 pounds in about a year and 2 months. If you want to change your life in a meaningful way, it’s totally possible.
The best way to do this (IMHO) is to get an odometer for your bike & find some back roads near where you live. It’s great to bike 50 miles, or a century (100 miles) in the Spring or Fall, as they are beautiful transition times. But 50 miles is nice, anyhow, if you can find some back roads or country roads, get away from a city, and enjoi nature. Nature on a bike is, IMHO, just about the right speed, with the exception of actually being on foot in the woods.
