Poetry is one of the few things that keeps me alive. If I achieve nothing else in life, I would be proud to be known as a poet. Of course, there is a long way to go. :P
Most recent… an attempt to help someone understand a reality they’re in denial about:
Ghostwriter
If she could, she would show you her broken mirror:
a thousand empty eyes, and drips that laugh
in soulless resignation.
If you would, you could feel the cool black torture
of screaming shards that rip you all to pieces,
and she would smile sadly.
If she could, she would crush the glass that mocks her,
till only light could fill the bleeding crystals,
and she would disappear.
If you would, you could see the way your words,
on wings of fervour, beat away the whiteness;
spirit shrouding nothing.

HTML and CSS are probably two of the easiest coding languages. There are plenty of tutorials that teach them online, and they don’t take long to learn, so go for it!
This is one of the sites I visited the most: http://www.htmlgoodies.com/

I know how tempting it is. I know how the razor seems to sing through the skin and how cathartic it feels when the blood flows. I know the feeling of utter release. But it isn’t worth it. However good it might feel in the moment, that’s all it is, a moment. And the next day when the reality of what you’ve done hits you, it’s too late to take it back. If you felt bad before, if you felt you were drowning in your rage and despair, you’re only going to feel worse after you cut. Ashamed, guilty, dirty, needy. I can’t even look at my own arms without feeling sick. The cuts might start out thin, but soon that may no longer be enough. Please, talk to someone. Until you start you never realise what you’d give to take it back.
