I bought a dress form on craigslist the other day. It will be very helpful.
I also have my grandmother’s sewing machine. It is a wonderful machine.

How I did it: I worked hard. I changed my major a few times. I asked lots of questions. I did my homework and showed up for classes. I got a degree in what I wanted, and not in what was necessarily practical. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I compromised. But still got what I wanted. I sat the mothers down and let them know it was my wedding, they had theirs, and it was my turn now. I got married outside, I had a chocolate frosted cake, there wasn't special music, there wasn't children involved, it was short and sweet. How I wanted it. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Found a guy, found a spot, had a preacher. It was perfect.I took up every persons offer for help. I made my own invitations, bought my dress for $27 and had it altered to fit by a friend, I bought my cakes at the local store and my flowers too, had the wedding in the middle of a state park, and had sun lotion and bug spray as my favors. My brother and I are actually taking a class together, even though we go to separate colleges. I get up every Tuesday/Thursday and make the trek to his school. We even sit by each other in class.
