We’ve finished dividing the oversize master bedroom to create a separate retreat/home office. We also installed a door between the bedroom and the vanity area to create more privacy. The retreat also includes a small closet where we can store winter coats and various odds n’ ends.

The both rooms are re-carpeted and next we will need to paint. At least painting is something I enjoy doing.

One way to organize the master bedroom is to decide to remodel it! In preparation for the remodel we sorted and dumped a bunch of stuff. Once the remodel is done we’ll sort and dump more stuff. Reorganization will partly come from the fact that we’re dividing the room (it’s large) to create a master retreat/home office.

I got a membership at the local YMCA last month and have been going there several time per week. The hours are much better than those at the U. of Redlands fitness center.
