How I did it: After making this one of my goals I started paying more attention to my listening habits and realized that I did it already. The easiest ways to find new music seem to be using iTunes Genius features and then playing around on Myspace just looking for new artists. Last.fm is also a really great resource to compare what you listen to against what is recomended for you. Read how I did it…

I took a class this past fall, really basic, and it helped, but I haven’t truly learned to play guitar yet. I want to get much better, to the point where I can seriously start to write my own songs and play well.
I’ve wanted to do this for about 6 years now. 5 years ago I was sort of offered an opportunity, but I didn’t take it at the time. I think only because I was scared. Yesterday I contacted a friend of mine to see about getting hired to do merch for the summer. I’m really pumped that this will work out.
