I visited New England during the summer of 2010 as part of a road trip with some friends. I’m only a few states from having visited the entire east coast!
Then I took a trip out to visit my friend Holly in Oregon in March 2011 and on my layovers I stopped in Dallas. I spent the layover with a friend of mine so I got to see a decent bit of the area outside the airport. Then when I was with Holly we went on a road trip into California! It all made for an excellent spring break.

In October I had an appointment made to get my first tattoo at Fate Tattoo in Columbus, Ohio. I was really excited and had been talking with Jack about the bracelet I wanted for a couple of months. However, there was a big mixup with the date he had me down for, so I wasn’t able to get the tattoo in October. Since I live in Virginia Jack was kind enough to give me a huuuuuge discount so that next time I visit Columbus I’ll be getting my first tattoo and possibly second as well. I’m excited and a little nervous, but I can’t wait. Once I get my tax return/loan refund money I’ll set a date to get it done, hopefully in February!
