How I did it: I (literally) wouldn't have survived junior year had I not transferred schools. I suffer from severe mental health issues, and for much of my high school career, I've been on and off of suicide watch, and I've been hospitalized in a psychiatric facility. I’ve been trying soooo hard to keep myself preoccupied with all of the things that I need to get done, and I guess to focus on important things. It’s helped me stay out of the depressive slump I always find myself in, but it’s so incredibly stressful. It’s a real bummer how much effort it takes to keep myself from feeling depressed… I can’t say that I’m completely happy, but I’m making progress, and I suppose that’s all I can really ask for right now.
