Do you believe in spirits looking after you? It was only recently when I started thinking about a particular someone because I joined Facebook. There was a David “Tz” Ang who wanted to befriend me. I know I’ve never met him or known him, and he doesn’t know me, but I accepted the offer. And that’s when I realized how he has the same name as someone I used to know. I actually thought once about getting blessed to him in spirit.
I went to Marshall’s to buy a blanket for YeonKyung to sleep in. I went to Target to see if they had better selections. I had grabbed some, and then decided to buy the microplush blanket I first saw at Marshall’s. So I dropped the two blankets I had in my hands, and walked over back to Marshall’s. On the ground, on the way to the other store was a fold-up paper bill. I quickly unfolded it thinking it as a real dollar bill…but it was a $20 bill. Yay! And I’m going to continue to look out for big bills everyday.
I bought a black plus sized pants for $1, and turned it into Chanic’s school uniform. I must have saved like twelve dollars. Yay!
We went to Calistoga hot springs to see if the water would have any benefit to Chansum. It was raining and cold, but the water was warm, so it was nice. Chansum’s skin seemed to have gotten better, but he had a serious outbreak after the day at the spring. Maybe more because he had caught a cold.
We ditched church and bought a lot of fruits at the farmer’s market this Sunday. 25lbs of oranges for $7!. And they are delicious! Gave some to our front neighbor. It seems like Chansum can now take cherry tomatoes and oranges. No dairy, though. No chicken, pork, or greasy things….
We did some stretching for the past few days.
Kids seem to look forward to it.
Plus, we made fridays, movie nights.
Need to do Hoondok.
Maybe a volunteer day.
Bake cookies day.
So far, we made crafts every weekend – soap, and stocking.
I want to make a pillow rug.
Instead of buying everyone gifts, I would have to create gifts. Because really, do you need what you’re going to get?
What I really want is a house.
An oragnic garden.
Everything you own says something about you. What you decide to keep or discard. Every decision changes you to a brand new you. I’m not what I own, right? I’m mostly what I think and do. Why do I want to accumulate things I don’t even need? What is wrong with me?

I’m going to go full time next semester – 5 classes.
I can’t wait to finish and start teaching.

I need to make pure water, maybe with a dab of vinegar.
I’ll do that tomorrow.
Family traditions remind us where we come from…
They make us balanced and strong…
They remind us the importance of one another.
Who knows how long I will live? It’s best to live closest to the ones you love most, and that would be family…mom and dad..
I self-taught how to play guitar like 15 years ago. I used to write songs as well. I used to have time for these things, but now I’m a mom of 3 kids, and I feel tired all the time… I wish I can learn to play guitar and write songs again.
Lately, I’ve been dreaming of people giving me money or winning a lottery. I wonder what it is that I need to do to make this into a reality.
I have many good things on my mind, and I wish I can somehow organize them in a novel or a short story or something.
I know I’m a very creative person, and I believe I can do anything.
I’ve been wanting to make soap for a long time.
I got a 50% off coupon from Michael’s. I’ll go there tomorrow and buy a block of glycerine soap.
We had our condo out on the market, but we had to pull out after about 4 months, because Chansum was due to come out. After that, the housing prices started dropping. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad, because we need to sell our condo, but at the same time, we need to buy a house for our growing 3 kids.
