I just started today, and I plan to stay the course for 10 days. I was a bit concerned that I would find the lemonade drink to be unpleasant since I dislike sweet drinks….but the cayenne makes it quite tasty. So wish me luck. This is going to be an adventure. :)

I actually played my accordion yesterday, after more than a year of not touching the thing. My daughter had forgotten I could even play….:)
I have not eaten any animal products for one week now, and I feel great. It has been a real challenge, though…and I find myself having to prepare separate foods for myself.
I am a bit conflicted about not using animal products for clothing/shoes/etc….although I do not plan to buy anything made of leather again, I am not ready to get rid of the leather shoes I do own. And, I am a multi-genre costumer, so I have a few pairs of leather boots, some leather accessories, and a nice hooded robe made of wool….that I really don’t want to part with.
I guess it is all about how far I want to take this. For now, it is no NEW things made of animal products, but keep the stuff I already have. :)
