I feel as though I may have to create an opposite for this goal-make more time for myself. I think it’s just a phase, but it’s like every weekend is jam packed with family and friend events. As exhausting as it can be, I appreciate and love the time to be with people I love.

I don’t think this goal is actually attainable for me, but I do keep trying. I’m just naturally overwhelmed and stressed. But whenever I feel myself succumbing to the stress, I ask “will I remember this day/assignment/meeting in 5 years?”. If not, why am I getting so worked up about it?
My boyfriend and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary last weekend and he moved into my apartment a couple months ago. We would love to be able to buy a house in the next couple years. I have a savings account that I’ve always maintained, but it’s slow and steady. He just started a savings account. Hopefully I can find a balance between keeping this goal in mind and enjoying life. I’ve always had a hard time spending money, but it’s another goal of mine.
