I am happy to announce the addition to our family of Piedra Riverswimmer. She is cute, wild, and soft. Some have called us crazy to raise a puppy while raising a four year old and a nine month old. I might have to agree.

My mountain board arrives Wednesday! In prep, I have been flying my trainer a bunch. It has been nice because the wind has been cranking.

I can’t wait!

Ah. I took advantage of some free time and went for a ride today! I rode in the Lunch Loops with Animas and didn’t TOTALLY suck. I did suck a lot of wind! Man I am in bad shape. The HRM said I was peaking at 195. Ouch. I was probably in zone <5 minutes. Just one way to get back in shape...

I put my clipless pedals back on after adjusting the right pedal tension to be minimal and escaped disaster. Just one foot plant that hurt, but only temporarily.

Animas is in as bad shape as me. Sad.

On my ride I came up with a good idea. Maybe a really good idea. We’ll see…
