Just finished learning Heisig Kanji #500. 1/4 of the way done! 50 kanji a day has stopped, not enough time for that everyday. I just fit in kanji study when I can now, hopefully I can finish before the end of summer…

Heisig seems to be going well so far… learned up to kanji #200 now. Hopefully I can keep at the same pace, it’s not that hard. http://kanji.koohii.com/ This site is a godsend for studying. <3
I listened to a lot of Japanese music before, but now for the sake of learning, I have filtered out all the English and soundtrack songs into “everything” and “Japanese” playlists. Also downloaded a bunch of Japanese podcasts to listen to. They sound interesting, even if I can only pick out a few words here and there.

Decided to study 50 kanji a day, more if possible. That way I can be finished with the 2042 Heisig kanji before the summer ends.
Just finished studying 1-50 and going for more!
