Having a Dog is going to be tricky 10 months ago

I’m divorced and have 50/50 custody with my kids’ dad. The kids will probably want to take the dog to his house on their days there. I have allergies so I have to choose a hypoallergenic dog like a poodle-mix. AND my fiance lives in Colorado while I live in California so I need a place to keep my dog when I’m in Colorado for sometimes extended trips.

It will all be worth it though because I have a loving home with me, my eight-year-old twins and my often-visiting fiance to give the dog lots of attention and care.
