I’m bumping up to saving 10% per paycheck. It’s not 10% of my income b/c it’s after retirement savings, taxes, medical, etc, but it’s what’s doable right now.

I did this once before, and after a year and a half of school/unemployment/internships/studying for the bar, I must do it again. I have paid off 3/8 of my debt since January. I hope to be debt-free (not including school loans) by October 2011.
The fiance and I are doing a modified version of slow carb diet. We aren’t going buck wild on the cheat day—maybe just having a burger and a beer for one meal. But we aren’t as strict the rest of the time, either. We are still eating fruit and dairy because I become a huge grouch without those things and all I can think about is food, all day.
It has been a little over 3 weeks. I have lost about three pounds. My goal is to lose 14 more.
