Lived in Far Rockaway, Queens for a year & a half after I moved out of my parents I lived about 3 blocks away from the beach – the Atlantic Ocean. It was freezing in the wintertime but awesome in the summer. Some days I would come home, drop off my stuff & head to the beach just to stare at the ocean for hours. Very soothing. The sunsets are great. Moved from there nearly 3 years ago. I still miss living near the water.
