I saved almost 10% out of my November paycheck. Now let’s see if I can hold on to it til payday and not dip in. I did my month’s budget based on it not being there. It’ll probably disappear into the christmas fund, but this is more of an exercise of Can I not spend this money this month!

I’ve been on track…splurged on a bodybugg and have been watching my calorie deficit daily and doing lots of walks, runs and elliptical training. The bodybugg helps tremendously—no more guesswork. Also read some great books that gave great tips on nutritional balancing and zigzag eating, etc. Anyway, I’m having a grand ol’ time and can’t wait to see this floppy tummy GO AWAY.
I finally feel like I’m getting to the point where I can do this. Of course, I say this right before the Christmas thing happens…BUT…I plan on putting 10% of each paycheck aside January 1, 2007. Subsequently, I am also going to start learning to invest my own money, too. I’m really excited about this, this is the first time in my life that I feel I’m really ready to do this.
