Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

shave my head completely bald.

If I have lost 15lbs by the above date, I’m going to shave my head bald and get a tattoo..

Every day

I try to eat a least 3-5 servings daily, will continue to monitor and work my way up to 4-7 servings per day….



Maintain the correct weight for my height and body type (read all 3 entries…)
YEAH!!!!

With the change in my diet and exercising, I’m getting closer to the goal, will take about 6 months, but I not about to give up now….wish me luck….

Thank you 43 things, by me listing thing that I want to improve upon in my life, has helped me to focus and now I feel like I’m truly living the life that I want to live. This has been a wonderful tool to help me improve my self and i will continue to work on the things I listed…

It’s a lifestyle now, can’t go without at least 8-10 8oz bottles daily, skin and health have improved so much, no going back now…I’ll wait six months before I’ll close this goal…

Where to start

I can’t decide whether I should pray @night before falling aslesp or in the morning upon rising. Maybe I should do both and just end this debate and procrastination.

This one I need help on, feeling better about myself since I cleaned-up my diet and starting taking better care of my skin and teeth, but still feels like something is missing, maybe I should volunteer or become more active in activities outside of home and work, any ideals?

Still going strong with the clean eating, don’t even want sugar, flour or Diet Pepsi LOL…Now addicted to dark chocolate and pumpkin seeds, help…LOL

Continue to eat well, Clean foods, drinking lot’s of water, lost appx 8lbs thus far, will purchase some exercise gear within the next 2 weeks, hope to lose at least 10lbs by the end of FEB…wish me luck…

Mixed Bouquet

This week, it’s a mixed bouquet of red Gerber Daises, Red Carnations and Purple Bluebells with green foliage, very pretty and Spring like..

Happened just like this

While sitting in a restaurant, having a cup of tea alone, I noticed a lady across f/me about my age. I spoke and we started a lovely conversation. Come to find out, she is a local jazz singing and invited me to come to one of the local jazz clubs to hear her sing and also gave me her FB and e-mail. WOW, it was just so easy, just smile and said hello….

Feeling great

Well, it’s been 1 month now, still drinking at least 8oz x 8-10 of H2O daily, feeling better than I’ve felt in a long time, will not return to old habits, too much to lose…
