How I did it: I have always been a non-conformist. If everyone else is doing it, then that means I'm OUT. I avoided the trap until I saw that my friend had them, then I broke down and asked if I could borrow Twilight. I was hooked. I couldn't put it down! I took them to work with me, i gave up all of my TV shows I like to watch...I even spent most of New Year's Eve with my nose in the last inch or so of Breaking Dawn. That… Read how I did it…
For an early anniversary present, my husband surprised me with nearly-front-row Heart/Journey tickets. The concert was the 11th of July.. It was utterly fantastic! I can remember listening to their albums when I was just a little girl, staring into the stereo speakers, trying to picture it like they were there, singing to me. The song, These Dreams, has always appealed to me. They happened to play my song at the concert in acoustic style. I cried. My husband looked over at me as tears were streaming down my face. I know, cry at a rock concert…but I couldn’t help it. It was my favorite song, and I was really looking up to see Ann & Nancy, singing to me. What a phenomenal night.
